This well is considered as a pilot for a dual-purpose well designed to supply potable water and inject desalinated water. The borehole has been pre-adjusted to serve the stated above purpose, and is built of a double wall pipe that is filled with glass balls that serve as a filter. The well equipment design included hydraulic design, as well as a detailed design for the pipes, pumping equipment, water treatment facility, electrical system and civil engineering.
