The project included the preparation of design alternatives for the remediation of the national water carrier canal. Three different design alternatives for the remediation of the national water carrier canal were prepared and constructed. Each alternative was carried out in three sections of 40 m long each. The remediated sections are periodically monitored for the integrity in order to select the preferable alternative for the rehabilitating of the canal.
