The Gamaliel Creek along with the Sorek stream constitute a central drainage pathway in a settled area that is under construction boom (within the Sorek Lachish Drainage Authority). As part of the work for the Drainage Authority, Ecolog prepared the design plans to regulate the creek in a way that will provide a solution to the problems of recurring flooding around the creek. The design was done in collaboration with a landscape architect and ecologist for optimal environmental and landscape integration into the design plans.
