The environmental impact assessment for Yahel 1 petroleum drilling, was prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Energy and Water, and in consultation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, as part of the required permit procedures. The environmental impact survey was prepared in accordance with the oil regulations and included: evaluation of alternative drilling locations, technological drilling alternatives, addressing environmental issues associated with noise, wastewater, air quality, hazardous materials, potential impact to groundwater and surface water, assessing the potential for environmental pollution, seismology studies, engineering coordination with statutory/regulatory agencies and more.
