The Hydrogeology Department specializes in the application of applied hydrogeology for, groundwater exploration, joint groundwater and surface water supply, groundwater dewatering in construction and infrastructure projects, performing pumping and injection tests, hydrological design of monitoring and production wells, and design, operation maintenance and monitoring of injection facilities and advanced groundwater monitoring systems.
Performing regional and site specific flow and transport modeling of pollutants in groundwater systems using numerical models such as (GMS-MODFLOW MT3D, and FEFLOW). Provide hydrogeological support on various issues to include expert opinion, consultation for infrastructures including roads, railroads, water supply systems, construction projects and tunneling.

The department`s areas of activity include:
Hydrogeological planning for infrastructures
Groundwater exploration and supply
Design of monitoring and production wells
Groundwater dewatering for construction and infrastructure projects
Design, construction, operation and maintenance of advanced groundwater monitoring systems
Hydrogeological and hydrochemical models
